Around the world with Jewish folktales: Jews of Kurdistan

This is “AROUND THE WORLD WITH JEWISH FOLKTALES: JEWS OF KURDISTAN,” by Baruch Rand and Barbara Rush, a previously-owned large paperback book. It was published by the Toledo Board of Jewish Education in 1978 and runs 67 pages (with a small mark on the cover). This is a beautifully designed collection of Jewish tales that span many centuries and come from countries of the Middle East, Africa, and eastern Europe. There are stories here that readers will recognize as familiar tales and moral tales that teach lessons. Long Island’s Barbara Rush has also edited “Jews of Kurdistan” and “Seventy and One Tales for the Jewish Year: Folktales for the Festivals.”
